…when all other lights have gone dark.

The top layer of my candle peeled off today, but it did it so cleanly that it’s almost like a new candle. Almost.

I use candles to mark off times when I need to focus and remember that God is near. This has been, by far, the cleanest burning and longest lasting candle I have owned. It has lit the dark corners of the past year with a warmth and a glow that reminded me of God’s presence and I’m thankful that it’s still burning tonight.
